One of our many Hope Church George values is FAMILY! We want every family to enjoy church together so we have crafted secure, joyful spaces at Hope Kids for your children to connect with Jesus and have a blast with their friends.
We have programs for three age groups and for special needs support. Hope Kids is available at every Sunday service and also at other events. We hope to see you all there!
Our Tots & Preschool (Ages 1-7) age group is all about short, engaging and fun Bible stories. We post new Bible Stories on our Hope Kids YouTube channel every week! Our Sunday program involves playtime, Bible stories and prayer.
At Hope Kids, we teach Biblical truth in a fun and relevant way! Sundays at Grade 2-5 is all about making friends, experiencing God and taking your next step in a fun and engaging way.
Champions Club is our ministry for families blessed with children with special needs between the ages of 3-14 years old. Champions Club is available at our 09:45 am and 11:00 am services.

At Hope Church George, we believe children are a gift from God. Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. Our dedication service provides you, the parent(s), an opportunity to express publicly your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, so your child will develop a desire to love God and love others.
We want every family to enjoy church together! Hope Kids is all about learning more about Jesus in a fun and engaging way. Our heart is to see families grow closer to God together!
We’re open during every Sunday Service, as well as other events like First Saturday Prayer and Heart & Soul.
Our Volunteers are devoted, Jesus-loving Christians that have a heart for developing our future leaders. Each of our volunteers have completed the Discovery course at Hope Church, as well as Hope Kids leadership training. Each of our volunteers carry our Hope Church values and firmly believe in our motto – so others may live!
All adult volunteers are required to complete a police security check. We value your family’s safety!
Our Hope Kids are divided into age groups during our services, so that each child can enjoy a program that is relevant and engaging to their specific age group.
Champions Club is a loving environment for children with special needs, where they are nurtured and taught about God by a specialised, dedicated team.
Although we encourage each child to belong to their particular age group, siblings are welcome to stay together. Often younger siblings need time to adjust to a new environment and nothing helps better than the comfort of an older brother or sister. In these cases, we encourage older siblings to sit with their younger siblings during the program. This allows time for the younger sibling to make friends of their own age and get comfortable with their leaders!
Our program is designed to be engaging and interactive at every turn! You can expect your children to make lots of new friends and learn more about Jesus every week!
Worship: Worship is a big part of our Hope Kids program. We want children to understand the heart behind worship – putting all your attention on Jesus and giving him everything you’ve got!
Message: Each Age Group will receive a short, relevant and impactful message, inspired by the Bible and designed to be fun and engaging. We believe God’s word is alive, active and powerful! Each month, we cover a specific topic based on a verse in the Bible. Our monthly themes help us to equip our Hope Kids with a better understanding of the Bible!
Small Groups: We’re all about making new friends! Circle Time and Small Groups are a space where kids get to know their leaders and each other. We pray together, participate in a couple of message-related activities and recap our message.
Registration opens 15 minutes before the start of each service. All children must be checked in and signed out by an adult (18+). When checking in, you will receive a collection sticker with a unique barcode. You will need this sticker to sign yourchild out. Please remain at church throughout the duration of the service.
Keep your cellphone on vibrate during the service, in case we need to contact you. Only one adult may collect your child. Make sure you have your collection sticker with you. Please sign your child out as soon as the service ends, so that we can check in children for the next service.
Please don’t sign your child out before the end of the service.We want each of our Hope Kids to enjoy the whole service!
If you are a volunteer, your child may attend Hope Kids for 2 services.
